RACHEL YODER

LICSW, VICE PRESIDENT TREATMENT PROGRAMS 

Rachel was born and raised in Norwalk Connecticut.  She received her BSW and MSW from Rhode Island College. Rachel began her ten year career at Tides Family Services as a Clinical Intern.  She then transitioned to a Home Based clinician working directly with clients in their homes.  Rachel was promoted to Sr. Clinician, Assistant Clinical Director, Clinical Director, and Assistant Vice President of Treatment Programs and is now the Vice President of Treatment Programs.   Rachel was also a presenter at the National Heuther Conference and has graduated from the Next Generation Lasallian Leadership Institute.

Rachel is a member of the RI Coalition for Children and Families Membership Practice Committee, the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative, the Children’s Youth Cabinet and she received the Social Worker of the Year in Children and Families from NASW-RI.

Rachel’s proudest moment at Tides has been securing $10 million in contracts with the State of Rhode Island to serve more at risk families throughout Rhode Island.  Rachel and her husband Dan live in Cranston and she enjoys cooking, baking and is an avid animal lover.  Her understanding and direct experience in program operations is critical for the growth of Tides.
